CSM Certification Process
CSM certification requires a two-day, 16 hour course in-person taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer. This course will provide an overview of the Scrum framework. In addition, you will be prepared for the Scrum Master role. You will gain knowledge of Agile, Scrum Events, Scrum Artifacts, and Scrum Roles. This is done through exercises, discussions, and case studies that are based on real-world scenarios.
How to Prepare for the CSM Exam
Most people need time to study in addition to the two days spent in training. Study and review the prerequisite materials to prepare yourself for the class. After you’ve finished the course, you will take the CSM exam online. The course prepares you with tools and knowledge required to pass the exam.
The CSM exam consists of 35 multiple-choice questions. You must correctly answer at least 24 questions in order to pass the exam and gain your certification. You will schedule the exam at your own convenience, but only after you’ve completed your CSM course.
